Alec Samways is a London‑based DJ and record collector. His lifelong passion for soul music was shaped in the 1980s boogie and rare‑groove era and led him through jazz, funk, disco and deep house. He began on pirate radio in the early 90s, later hosting shows on House FM and Unknown, while running intimate East London loft parties under the name Keep Love Alive. His sets favour warmth, romance, and positivity - music made for people to dance together, blending ‘lover‑man’ slow moments with uplifting sounds for collective smiles. Always played on vinyl and guided by good vibes, Alec’s selections are about love, togetherness and keeping the human heart, soul, and stories of dance music alive.
